ABOUT

I'm Lucia Bunge Guerrico, originally from Argentina and raised in various places like the United States, the Dominican Republic, and back to Argentina, which has made me fluent in both English and Spanish. My journey into the world of psychology led me to obtain a license in Clinical Psychology from UCE University in the Dominican Republic. Writing has been my dream since I can remember understanding what being a writer meant.

Aside from my professional endeavors, I'm also deeply involved in other practices that bring joy and fulfillment to my life. I'm a tarot card reader and a yoga and fitness instructor, and nothing makes me happier than guiding others to become the best versions of themselves.

 

My journey with yoga and meditation began at the age of 16 when I started practicing Ashtanga yoga in Tucumán, Argentina. I used to wake up at 5 a.m. before school just to fit in my meditation practice. One of the most profound moments of my life happened during a Savasana session, where I felt a deep connection to the divine within me, realizing that 'Wow, this is God and it's inside me.'

 

Beyond my spiritual practices, I enjoy a diverse range of interests including reading, drawing, singing, leading kirtans, traveling, cooking, spending time outdoors, and surfing.

A Modern Yogi's Poems to the Divinemarks my first foray into the world of published works, with many more to come. Currently, I'm soaking up the sun in sunny San Diego, CA, USA.
